Terms of Service

1. User Accounts
To use AccountingFlow you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately at support@accountingflow.co.za if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. Firm administrators are responsible for managing user access within their firm.
2. Subscription Terms
AccountingFlow is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
Plan features, company limits and AI credit allocations are described on our pricing page. We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days'' notice to active subscribers.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use AccountingFlow only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, interfere with its operation, reverse engineer the service, or upload malicious content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data, documents and content you upload to AccountingFlow. We do not claim any ownership over your firm''s or your clients'' data.
You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
5. Intellectual Property
AccountingFlow, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is the intellectual property of AccountingFlow and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for your internal business purposes.
6. Payment Terms
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance in South African Rand. Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors; we do not store your full card details.
If a payment fails, we will notify you and may retry the charge. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of the subscription.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep AccountingFlow available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance is performed outside business hours where possible.
We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including internet service interruptions or third-party infrastructure failures.
8. Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AccountingFlow is provided ''as is'' and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from use of the platform.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
